The Wise Fools Series – Year 2, Chapter 1: Kelsey Leonard with Zanne D'Anna, Daron Webb, and Michael Babin

In Greek, "sophomore" translates to "wise fool," and we've got a crew of performing artists ready to support one of our own. Kelsey Leonard found out that her best friend’s son, Sky Taylor, was being bullied in school for being trans. She decided to put together a GoFundMe to pay for his to transfer to Northwest Academy, a private performing arts high school in Portland. Tuition was successfully raised, and now we're aiming for next year. It takes a village to raise a child, and we are that village. Kelsey and Miss Smith are producing a series of concerts throughout the year to raise the $6,000 to $7,000 needed for next year's tuition. If we go over, we'll just get started on his junior year!

The Wise Fools Series – Year 2, Chapter 1 features amazing voices from within the Resound NW and Miss Smith Presents studios. This one-act show is free to attend; please make your donations directly to the GoFundMe for Sky's sophomore year. Doors will open at 6:00 pm for an art show! This event will also be streaming live on the Miss Smith Presents YouTube channel.
